DIFF 2025 Lights Up Da Nang with Its Largest-Ever Fireworks Stage

Da Nang, Vietnam - The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 officially kicked off on May 31, unveiling the biggest and most ambitious fireworks stage in the city’s history. Against the backdrop of the Han River Bridge, the new floating platform spans over 300 meters in length and 90 meters in width, offering an unprecedented canvas for the world’s top pyrotechnic teams.

A Floating Spectacle on the Han River

- Record-breaking dimensions: At 300 m × 90 m, the DIFF 2025 stage outstrips all previous installations, making it one of the largest temporary waterfront stages ever built in Vietnam.

- High-tech design: Equipped with over 1,200 mounting points and advanced digital control systems, the platform allows fireworks to be synchronized precisely with music and lighting effects.

- Enhanced safety features: Reinforced steel trusses and custom-designed mooring systems ensure stability, while dedicated fire-suppression units stand ready on-site.

International Lineup and Schedule

Over six consecutive weekends, seven teams from Asia and Europe will compete in dazzling pyrotechnic battles:

- May 31 - Team Vietnam 1 (Da Nang Fireworks Team) vs. Team Finland (Joho Pyro)

- June 7 - Team Vietnam 2 (Z21) vs. Team Poland (Surex)

- June 14 - Team Canada (Orion Fireworks) vs. Team China (JiangXi YangFang)

- June 21 - Team Portugal (Macedos) vs. Team UK (Pyrotex Fireworx)

- June 28 - Team Korea (Faseecom) vs. Team Italy (Martarello)

- July 12 - Grand Finale: Top two scorers

Each match begins at 8:30 PM along the riverfront, with synchronized music broadcast on local radio and through a dedicated mobile app.
