Lai Chau Tourism Welcomes 72,759 Visitors During the Holiday

During the 30/4 - 01/5 holiday, Lai Chau welcomed 72,759 visitors, including 69,825 domestic and 2,934 international tourists, a 10% increase from 2024. Tourism revenue reached approximately 54.503 billion VND, up 13% from the previous year.

The province organized various cultural, sports, and festive events, including performances at San Thang Night Market and Hoang Dieu Pedestrian Street, as well as displays of OCOP products, local cuisine, folk games, and art performances. Safety, hygiene, and service quality were ensured, with stable prices and no overcrowding at major attractions.

Popular destinations included Rong May Glass Bridge, O Quy Ho Pass, Huoi Quang - Ban Chat Reservoir, Pa Khom Bay, Homestay Paradise Resort, community tourism villages such as Tham Village and Sin Suoi Ho, and historical sites like Luot Village and Le Loi Temple. Enhanced promotion highlighted Lai Chau as a safe and attractive destination, contributing to a successful holiday period and significant growth in visitors and revenue.
