Number of visitors to Lam Dong during Lunar New Year increased by 36%

Lam Dong province is projected to welcome 380,000 visitors during the Tet Nguyen Dan holiday in 2025, a nearly 36% increase from 2024.

From January 25th to February 2nd, the province received about 220,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation, including 206,000 domestic and 14,000 international tourists, with total accommodated guests reaching 170,000. By the end of the 5th day of Tet, total tourist arrivals are estimated at 380,000, including 27,000 international visitors, while hotel occupancy in Da Lat and other areas ranged from 60% to 95%.

Traffic and public safety were well managed, with 701 traffic violations recorded but no major congestion, and authorities ensured security at public entertainment sites. Social assistance and Tet allowances were provided to over 216,000 people, totaling more than 128.2 billion VND.

The province organized numerous cultural, artistic, and festival activities, including the Spring Flower Festival, book and photo exhibitions, and Tet celebrations, along with low-altitude fireworks displays in selected areas funded by local sponsorships. Agencies and businesses maintained Tet duty schedules, ensured safety, managed production and services, and prepared to return to normal operations promptly after the holiday, maintaining discipline and ethical standards.
