Happily, 2024 continues to be a "bumper harvest" year for Yen Bai tourism. This success continues to affirm the correct and timely orientation in the leadership and direction of the industry, at the same time affirming the great efforts and determination of the entire industry, the business community, and each person who has contributed to the strong development of the tourism industry".

First of all, the bold propaganda, promotion and advertising activities have created the image and brand of Yen Bai tourism for tourists. Yen Bai Center for Monument Management and Tourism Development carries out propaganda and promotion through domestic festival events, fairs and on the Internet, Yen Bai Tourism Electronic Information Page, mass media, publications, and large billboards.

Market research, tourism promotion and advertising have many innovations in methods and content. In 2024, Yen Bai will perform well the task of digital transformation in tourism, building databases, updating data of local businesses on the Provincial Tourism Information Portal; integrating the Provincial Tourism Information Portal with other applications and platforms such as: Provincial Tourism Information fanpage, Provincial Electronic Information Portal website, YenBai-S Digital Citizen application.

Sectors and localities promote the application of information technology in promoting images, connecting destinations and services with tourists via the Internet; providing high-speed Internet services, providing free wireless Internet services for tourists to most centers, locations, and tourism service businesses from the State budget or through socialization.

Yen Bai tourism industry participates in tourism development cooperation activities between Ho Chi Minh City and 8 extended Northwestern provinces; tourism development cooperation with Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh, and Nghe An provinces. This year, the province has cooperated internationally with Yamanashi province, Japan and signed a memorandum of understanding on 5 main areas of cooperation, including tourism.

A highlight of Yen Bai tourism is focusing on improving the quality of tourism products, building and renewing existing tourism products, forming new, unique and attractive tourism products according to the motto "New products, new styles, new experiences", exploiting the potential and strengths of the region and locality and forming new products with unique and different values.

Yen Bai promotes the development of strong products such as: health care tourism associated with natural heritages, hot mineral mines, medicinal plant growing and processing areas... The province focuses on building and developing specific tourism products, suitable for the context and market segments of tourists at each time to form the product "4-season tourism".

In particular, the tourism infrastructure system has gradually developed, meeting the increasing needs of tourists. Yen Bai currently has 562 accommodation establishments, of which 15 are ranked from 1 star to 3 stars. The type of accommodation with rooms for rent has developed quite rapidly, with 268 households operating homestays, of which 129 establishments have been inspected to meet the minimum requirements for technical facilities and services.

Accommodation establishments are interested in building their own brands and renovating, upgrading, adding additional services, improving service quality, and providing more professional services. In addition, the industry is improving the quality of tourism human resources and in 2024, for the first time, organizing the "Outstanding Tour Guide" Contest.

2024 ended with the success of Yen Bai tourism. Confidently entering the new year 2025, Yen Bai tourism aims to attract more tourists and generate higher revenue. The achievements that have been achieved are the foundation and driving force for Yen Bai tourism to continue to grow.
