As Christmas approaches, hotels and resorts are filled with festive cheer, from European-style Christmas afternoon teas and warming glasses of Glühwein to elegant gala dinners set within refined surroundings. Under the theme “A Luminescent Dreamscape”, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi transforms into a dreamy wonderland illuminated by millions of sparkling lights. The festive atmosphere blends seamlessly with the timeless elegance of the 124-year-old luxury hotel in the heart of the capital. Throughout the holiday season, Metropole Hanoi will also host a series of curated culinary events.

On Christmas Eve, the hotel presents four special Christmas dinner experiences, including a lavish buffet accompanied by inspiring jazz performances at Le Club Bar, as well as a six-course tasting menu showcasing the distinctive culinary identities of its signature restaurants Le Beaulieu, angelina and Spice Garden.

On Christmas Day, December 25, guests can enjoy a refined Christmas lunch along with a variety of dinner options. These include an Asian-inspired dinner buffet at Spice Garden and all-day à la carte dining at angelina. Following a comprehensive renovation, L’Epicerie has also reopened, offering a French-inspired gourmet shopping experience with elegant gift hampers and traditional Christmas delicacies.

Festive Activities at Azerai Resorts

Both Azerai resorts welcome the 2025 festive season with a curated lineup of activities, refined dining experiences and exclusive wellness and leisure programs.

At Azerai Ke Ga Bay, Christmas Day begins with a special breakfast featuring Virgin Bloody Mary mocktails and a surprise visit from Santa Claus, who brings delightful gifts for children. Fun games such as candy cane relays, ball toss and bean bag throw will take place at the Sports House. In the evening, guests can enjoy an elegant European-inspired dinner by the seaside pool in a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.

At Azerai La Residence Hue, Christmas Eve on December 24 opens with a cocktail reception at the Lobby Lounge. Guests will enjoy a performance by the choir from Friends of Hue Foundation and receive festive blessings from Santa Claus. The evening continues with a refined Christmas dinner at Le Parfum, accompanied by gentle piano, cello and violin melodies. Early on Christmas morning, guests may join a complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to Phu Cam Cathedral. Later in the afternoon, the hotel hosts a self-serve afternoon tea at the lobby, along with complimentary calligraphy and painting classes.

Christmas Afternoon Tea at TIA Wellness Resort

Throughout December, TIA Wellness Resort serves a Christmas-themed afternoon tea menu featuring classic flavors such as egg custard cupcakes, Christmas scones with orange and strawberry jam, turkey sandwiches with cranberry and pickled red cabbage, along with a selection of festive sweets. The experience is complemented by champagne or Ronnefeldt tea and is available daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM between December 1 and 26.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at The Dining Room, guests are invited to indulge in the six-course “Ray of Christmas” dinner, with a vegan option available, accompanied by soothing piano performances. Guests may also opt for a wine pairing featuring organic wines from Spain, Italy, France, New Zealand and Australia.

Traditional Glühwein at Alma Resort Cam Ranh

Alma Resort Cam Ranh brings festive joy to families with a wide range of culinary events and holiday activities. At the Food Court, a giant gingerbread house creates a magical space for children to explore while families capture cherished moments together.

The Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place at the main lobby on December 13, featuring thousands of sparkling lights. Guests can enjoy cocktails, light refreshments and performances by a children’s choir singing classic holiday carols. At Alma Kids’ Club, the Advent Calendar becomes a highlight of the Christmas countdown, offering daily surprises for young guests.

As Christmas draws closer, Santa Claus will appear at the lobby to meet families and take photos on December 23, 24 and 25. From December 20 to 30, traditional hot Glühwein will be served at the main lobby and Food Court, evoking the warmth and charm of European Christmas markets with every aromatic sip.

At The Anam Cam Ranh, from December 15 to January 10, The Colonial Restaurant offers Festive Afternoon Tea featuring delicate sweet and savory treats. Saigon Bar introduces the Champagne and Caviar Soiree, pairing premium caviar with fine champagne. Christmas Eve on December 24 begins with a light cocktail reception, followed by a nine-course Christmas dinner at The Colonial or a generous grilled buffet at The Indochine.

At The Anam Mui Ne, the festive season begins on December 23 with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the lobby, accompanied by Christmas carols performed by a festive choir. On Christmas Eve, December 24, guests can enjoy a BBQ buffet at The Indochine or a four-course Christmas set menu at Lang Viet Restaurant. Christmas Day starts with a lavish breakfast at The Indochine, featuring festive favorites such as hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows. Children can take part in Christmas-themed coloring activities at the kids’ club, followed by a refined brunch featuring a three-course menu paired with a glass of sparkling wine.
