Hilton Elevates Its Membership Tiers With New Honors Structure for 2026
Hilton is preparing to introduce a new tiered structure for its Hilton Honors loyalty program starting January 2026. The redesign aims to reflect the rising expectations of premium travelers and the increasing competition among global hotel brands. The updated program introduces faster upgrades, refreshed benefits, and a new top-tier level designed for Hilton’s most loyal guests. With more than 9,000 hotels worldwide, Hilton is positioning its loyalty ecosystem for stronger engagement and long-term retention.
Hilton Honors is being restructured to provide more personalized recognition and meaningful rewards for frequent travelers. This shift follows the growing demand among luxury guests for exclusive privileges and tailored experiences. Hilton, like other major hospitality groups, is elevating its loyalty strategy to retain high-value customers.
A recent highlight within the system is the integration of Angkor Village Hotel in Cambodia into the Hilton portfolio. This expansion reflects Hilton’s continued focus on diversifying destinations and offering unique stays within its global network.
Revised Qualification Requirements
Starting in 2026, members will reach Gold status with only 25 nights per year, a reduction from the current 40-night requirement. Gold members will receive benefits including early confirmation of available room upgrades, dining or beverage credits, or continental breakfast depending on the brand and region.
Diamond status will also become more accessible, requiring 50 nights instead of 60. Diamond members enjoy premium privileges such as lounge access, 48-hour room availability guarantees, and a 100 percent points bonus.
Introduction of Diamond Reserve
The new top-tier level, Diamond Reserve, is designed for Hilton’s most committed travelers. To qualify, guests must stay 80 nights per year and spend 18,000 USD in eligible on-property spending. This tier delivers a premium suite of benefits aimed at luxury travelers who expect both exclusivity and convenience.
One of Diamond Reserve’s signature features is the premium room upgrade award. Eligible members can secure high-category rooms, including one-bedroom suites, for stays up to seven nights at the time of booking. This benefit applies across Hilton’s luxury brands, including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and Signia by Hilton.
Additional Benefits for Diamond Reserve
Diamond Reserve enhances the travel experience with features built around flexibility and personal comfort. Members receive guaranteed 4 pm late checkout on qualifying stays, providing extra time for rest or trip preparation. The tier also includes 24/7 priority guest support for personalized assistance.
Members will also access Hilton’s premium club facilities without additional cost. These clubs offer elevated dining services, quiet workspaces, and private lounges that provide a refined environment away from crowded public areas.
