Lam Dong Welcomes More Than 18 Million Visitors in 2025

Lam Dong Province has received over eighteen million visitors since the beginning of the year, reaffirming its position as one of Vietnam’s most attractive destinations for both domestic and international travelers. Despite weather-related challenges, the province’s tourism sector continues to show strong growth and positive revenue performance.

Tourism Growth Despite Adverse Weather
At the November 2025 regular meeting of the Provincial People’s Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Loc reported that the sector maintained momentum even under the impact of storms and landslides. Total visitor numbers increased by nearly twenty percent compared to the same period last year, while international arrivals grew by more than thirty-two percent.

Severe weather in November caused landslides along several key tourism routes, interrupting traffic and temporarily reducing the number of visitors to the province’s central areas. Many tourists chose to remain in Da Lat until conditions improved and local authorities completed repairs.

Tourism businesses worked closely with local authorities to support guests during this period. Accommodation providers offered free or discounted rooms and assisted with transportation arrangements. Thanks to coordinated efforts and a strong sense of responsibility across the sector, no complaints were recorded regarding service quality.

Positive Signals from Eastern Lam Dong
The eastern part of Lam Dong is also showing promising signs, especially during the international tourism season. Popular destinations such as Mui Ne, Phan Thiet and Phu Thuy continue to attract visitors with warm weather, stable pricing and reliable service quality.
