The First Wellness Cruise Launches in Ha Long Bay
Cruising in Ha Long Bay is already familiar to many travellers, yet the arrival of a wellness-focused journey marks a new chapter for the destination. Bhaya Cruises has introduced Bhaya Soul, the first wellness cruise in Ha Long Bay, designed for guests who want to combine luxury travel with holistic wellbeing.
Bhaya Soul
Bhaya Soul blends artistic expression with wellness experiences. The vessel represents Bhaya Cruises’ new direction, offering a sophisticated space dedicated to guests seeking deeper connection with nature and with themselves. The cruise features twenty cabins inspired by natural landscapes and Vietnamese heritage, integrated with premium hospitality standards.
The concept is built around three themes that guide the entire journey: cultural artistry, peaceful harmony and the dynamic rhythm of nature. Bhaya Soul also follows a sustainable model that includes wastewater treatment systems, waste separation and environmentally friendly energy solutions. The interiors prioritise recyclable materials and traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship. Guest experiences contribute to conservation and community development efforts in Ha Long Bay and neighbouring areas.
Wellness activities are fully curated, including holistic therapies with flexible scheduling, mindful walking meditation at Tien Ong Cave, complimentary detox beverages, premium tea and coffee selections, kombucha and balanced meals prepared with local organic ingredients.
Cabin Collection
The vessel features four cabin categories with natural green tones and patterns inspired by traditional Vietnamese crafts.
Inspired by the symphony of Ha Long Bay, the Signature Suite uses hand-painted watercolour textiles that reflect the movement of the sea and forest. It offers a spacious private balcony designed for comfort and deep connection with nature. The Horizon Cabin draws from the image of an endless horizon and Asian landscapes. Located at the aft, it provides remarkable sunset views, enhanced by artistic motifs reminiscent of blue-and-white heritage ceramics.
The Symphony Cabin, shaped by the theme of Quiet Harmony, offers generous space and a private terrace. The Soul Legacy Suite occupies the prime position at the bow, with wide windows and an expansive balcony overlooking the shifting scenery of Ha Long Bay throughout the day.
Wellness Journeys and Exploration
Guests can choose multiple itineraries ranging from three days and two nights to five days and four nights. Each journey integrates wellness dining and cultural exploration at destinations such as Ba Ham Lake, a tranquil area known for emerald waters, cave passages, rare orchids and diverse wildlife including golden monkeys and silver-headed parrots. Other highlights include Cua Van Fishing Village, Tien Ong Cave, Cai Tai Island and Viet Hai Village, a secluded community of about eighty households whose livelihoods revolve around fishing, farming and animal raising. Visitors can cycle through peaceful landscapes and experience the unhurried rhythm of local life.
A new approach to Ha Long Bay travel
With Bhaya Soul, Ha Long Bay is strengthening its position as a destination that offers both natural beauty and meaningful wellbeing journeys. The introduction of wellness cruising opens new possibilities for diverse traveller segments seeking restorative and culturally rich experiences.
