Vietnam Tourism Promotion in Chengdu: Unlocking Cooperation Potential and Attracting More Chinese Visitors
The legendary Japanese mixologist and founder of Mixology Group, Shuzo Nagumo, made a highly anticipated return to Ômm Mixology for an exclusive event celebrating the art of tea-inspired cocktails. Known for combining science and creativity in mixology, Shuzo once again showcased his distinctive approach to blending precision with emotion.
Renowned for pioneering vacuum distillation and centrifugal techniques in Japan’s bar scene, Shuzo has spent over 20 years redefining cocktail craftsmanship. At Ômm, he presented three tea-based creations, Genmai & Eucalyptus Shandy, Hoji et Paradis, and Green Tea Fashioned, each symbolizing a chapter in the dialogue between Japanese minimalism and Vietnamese vibrancy.
For Shuzo, technique provides structure, but emotion shapes experience. He believes that even a milliliter can alter the entire feeling of a drink. His philosophy of precision, sensory awareness, and cultural inspiration is reflected in every pour. Drawing from Japanese tea farmers, local ingredients, and his encounters with Vietnamese culture, Shuzo continues to bridge culinary worlds.
“Vietnam has an incredible creative energy,” he shared. “When Japanese refinement meets Vietnamese openness, new forms of expression are born.”
The event reaffirmed Ômm’s vision as a space where mixology becomes art and cultural exchange unfolds through taste, dialogue, and craftsmanship.
