JW Marriott Officially Debuts in Cam Ranh
JW Marriott, the world-renowned luxury hospitality brand, has officially expanded its presence in Vietnam with the grand opening of JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa. This marks the brand’s first property in the coastal city of Cam Ranh, a destination celebrated for its pristine beaches and cultural richness.
Duke Nam, Vice President for Korea, Vietnam & the Philippines at Marriott International, emphasized the resort’s philosophy: “JW Marriott believes that connecting with nature is key to nurturing the soul. With this vision, JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa has been designed as a serene sanctuary where guests can relax, recharge, and reconnect with themselves and their loved ones.”
Design Inspired by Local Heritage
Spanning 22 hectares, the resort integrates bold design inspired by Eastern culture and the philosophy of the five elements—Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. The lush landscape is home to more than 1,000 indigenous plants and flowers. The lobby itself evokes the grandeur of carved stone, opening onto sweeping views of the expansive grounds.
The property offers 203 guestrooms and villas, each crafted with natural hues, fine woodwork, and traditional Vietnamese details. Among the highlights are 27 private villas ranging from one to four bedrooms, including ten beachfront residences adorned with traditional woven textiles. Each villa features its own pool and spacious terrace, inviting guests into an elevated world of privacy and comfort.
A Culinary Journey
Guests are invited on a vibrant gastronomic adventure across the resort’s diverse dining venues. Clay Craft, named after Cam Ranh’s famed red clay, showcases both Vietnamese and international flavors alongside a live pottery studio. Seafood Grill highlights freshly caught local seafood, grilled to perfection. Meanwhile, Bayside Bistro offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes, while the Lobby Lounge, Baking Company, and Pool Bar cater to casual indulgence—from artisanal breads to sunset cocktails by the water.
Local Experiences & Family Activities
At The Pottery Club, travelers can immerse themselves in the heritage of Chăm ceramics, particularly the ancient craft of Bàu Trúc, one of Southeast Asia’s oldest pottery villages. Under the guidance of skilled artisans, guests can create their own ceramic pieces. Families can also enjoy multiple pools, a lazy river, and colorful kids’ clubs that blend fun with learning.
Wellness & Sustainability
The Spa by JW provides eight treatment rooms and a hydrotherapy pool, offering holistic therapies designed to restore balance and tranquility. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy a state-of-the-art 24/7 gym, while the JW Garden supplies organic herbs and vegetables for the resort’s kitchens and doubles as a venue for interactive cooking classes.
With its seamless blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and luxury hospitality, JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa is set to become a defining destination on Vietnam’s south-central coast.
